In 2019, Clarkson brought her lookalike mother, Jeanne Taylor, and her older sister, Alyssa Watson, onto the set of their shared favorite show, Lucifer, for fun bonding time.

According to Watson, it was her idea to get Clarkson into watching the show. Clarkson also revealed that Watson and Taylor flew from North Carolina for the occasion.

''I suppose I'll keep my composure, I might let out a little 'whoop' here and there,'' Taylor said while meeting actor Tom Ellis, who played the titular role on Lucifer

''I have told my sister I want her to be her, but I need her to control the magnetism she feels between [her] and Tom Ellis,'' Clarkson said with a laugh.

''I do love him, and Kelly told me not to say exactly why, but, I read books, as my sister calls them 'naughty books.' Tom Ellis is the man I envision,'' Watson cheekily said.

"It's just really cool to bring my mom and my sister here, because they both love the show like I do,'' Clarkson added.

Clarkson's mother, Jeanne Taylor, is a school teacher, something that her daughter has always admired.

“I’ve seen her in action when I was a kid — she is so great and spends her own time, her own money. She really went above and beyond,” Clarkson said while on The Kelly Clarkson Show in 2019, while her mother was on set (per People.)

The ''Miss Independent'' singer also credits her mother for teaching her how to have thick skin from a young age.

''I watched her push through so many hurdles. She taught me you can do hard things, to never quit,'' Clarkson told People in 2022.

Clarkson's older sister, Alyssa Watson, she was born in 1976, and spent her childhood in North Carolina with her aunt, according to Closer Weekly

Clarkson also has a 50-year-old brother named Jason, who appeared as an extra in the music video to Clarkson's 2004 hit ''Walk Away.'' Other than that, he has mainly chosen to stay out of the limelight.

When Clarkson was speaking to SiriusXM in 2009, she explained that the siblings were all living near each other at the time. ''My land kind of slopes — I live up on the top part, my brother lives at the way bottom and my sister lives on the side. It’s cool though!” she said.
