There have been dozens of jaw-dropping Kellyoke performances on The Kelly Clarkson Show. But one of the most astounding ones was Kelly Clarkson's cover of Selena Gomez's "Lose You to Love Me."

She has a way of honoring the original renditions while adding a few unique vocal twists, always keeping her fans on the edge of their seats. The lyrics are heart-wrenching on their own, but Clarkson's passion elevates the performance to the next level. 

She began the cover low and eerie, taking her time with the lyrics, building to a belt as the song's message progressed. Clarkson honestly sounded like an angel as she sang the lines, "I saw the signs and I ignored it / Rose-colored glasses all distorted / Set fire to my purpose / And I let it burn."

It wouldn't be a Kellyoke performance without a showstopping belting moment from Clarkson, and she didn't leave the audience wanting as "Lose You to Love Me" concluded. Waiting until the haunting final chorus to truly let loose vocally, Clarkson sang, "I needed to lose you to love me, yeah / To love, love, yeah / To love, love, yeah / To love, yeah / I needed to lose you to love me." Clarkson sounded stunning, and the audience was hypnotized by her visceral cover, making for an all-around iconic Kellyoke moment.
