As one of the most romantic men in the music industry, The Voice alum John Legend is all about making his wife, Chrissy Teigen, feel loved on Mother's Day. The happy couple shares three young children — Luna, Miles, and their newborn Esti — so there was a lot of love to go around for the special occasion.

How to Watch

Watch The Voice Mondays and Tuesdays at 8/7c on NBC and next day on Peacock.

Legend took to Instagram to make a touching Instagram post in honor of Mother's Day. Legend shared a video montage of candid moments with Teigen and the kids, and it's packed with aww-worthy moments with the family. Legend captioned the moving IG post, "A love letter to our Supermom, Wonder Woman @chrissyteigen."

One clip shows Teigen and the kids waving at their dad from afar during a performance, while another shows her welcoming Esti into the world at the hospital. Many clips show Legend and Teigen enjoying vacations and quality time with their kids, with Teigen at the center of each moving snippet, highlighting her endless compassion.

Legend accompanied the montage to his track 2022 "Wonder Woman," a song inspired by his wife, boasting loving lyrics like, "You make me wonder, woman / How do you do well? / Some superpower / I don't understand," and "You make me wonder, woman / How do you do well? / You're superhuman / And I'm just a man." The track is a certified bop, but rings a little louder on Mother's Day, making the video montage all the more heartwarming.

A family man to his core, Legend took a break from Coaching The Voice during Season 23 to spend more time with his family. Many fans have missed his coveted insight on the Coaches panel, but Legend always assured fans he'd return.

"My family's growing, I have a new album out, I'm 'gonna do a little bit of touring, and so it's probably better that I take a break," Legend told Entertainment Tonight in 2022. "...But I'll be back on The Voice, just not this coming season."

The star delivered on that promise because Legend will return to the red chair for Season 24 of The Voice! He'll duke it out against fellow veteran Coach Gwen Stefani, Season 23 returning Coach Niall Horan, and country superstar Reba McEntire, new to the red chair but a seasoned Advisor and Mega Mentor of Voice seasons past.

Chrissy Teigen and John Legend

We know Teigen and the kids will be rooting for Legend to take home the gold, and fans can't wait to see the action unfold in Season 24 of The Voice, coming fall 2023.
