Why Tonight's AGT 18 Episode Isn't What You Expect
Yes, America's Got Talent 18 is coming on tonight — but with a slight twist.
We've had a whopping nine weeks of America's Got Talent 18 Auditions so far, meaning we've seen countless Acts — from emotional singing moments to adorable and shockingly talented kids — and seven unforgettable Golden Buzzer moments. And now, it's time for the Live Shows round... but not quite yet.
Before we see the Top 55 perform each week, a very special episode of AGT 18 will air on Tuesday, August 15. You can find all the must-know details below.

Is a new episode of AGT 18 on tonight August 15, 2023?
Yes, a new episode will air — but it's not what you think. Instead of a typical audition episode (the ninth and final round of auditions took place on August 8) it will be a two hour special recapping the Best of America's Got Talent 18 so far.
We'll see the Judges and Terry Crews reminisce until the final moments of the episode when the Top 55 Acts advancing to the Lives will be revealed following Judge deliberation.
How will live shows on AGT 18 work?
Beginning on Tuesday, August 22 at 8/7c and Wednesday, August 23 at 8/7c, AGT 18 will air on both Tuesdays and Wednesdays for Live Shows.
11 Acts will perform for the Judges each week for five weeks. Voting will open every Tuesday night after the show airs, with results revealed the next night on Wednesdays. Just two Acts will advance to the Finale each week based on fan votes, while the rest will be eliminated.

Which Acts are in the Top 55 of America's Got Talent 2023?
The results will not be announced until the final moments of AGT 18's special recapping the best of the season on August 15.
