In a recent red carpet interview with NBC Insider, the America's Got Talent Judge revealed the emotional and unexpected connection between his mom and the eye-catching glasses he wears every week during the Live Shows.

"Well I have a stylist. My glasses are my own line at SEE Eyewear. You got to HowieMandel.com and a portion of the sales of these glasses go to Alzheimer's," he said.

The comedian went on to reveal, "My mother suffers from [the disease] so this is something that is near and dear to me. It's a real tough thing, so if you can't see, go to SEE and help the cause."

The organization Mandel and SEE have partnered with is fellow comic Seth Rogen's non-profit, Hilarity for Charity. Its goal is to "care for families impacted by Alzheimer's disease, activate the next generation of Alzheimer's advocates, and be a leader in brain health research and education," according to their website.

On September 6 Dina Cerchione, Mandel's stylist, posted an Instagram picture of the two on the AGT set. There, Mandel was wearing the clear version of SEE's "Dina" style, which also comes in a black, tortoise, blue, and green versions, and sells for $339.

Mandel first collaborated with the brand in 2020 when portions of proceeds from his first capsule collection went towards the Boris L. Henson Foundation at the time, which had a goal "to change the way mental health is perceived in the Black community," according to SEE's website.

Richard Golden, SEE's founder and CEO, said in a statement: "I have always not just admired Howie's incredible wit, but also his deep compassion which always comes along with the causes he puts energy into. Howie has an incredible sense of style and I'm honored by how he's gravitated to our SEE Eyewear brand. We couldn't be more flattered that he wanted to do this collaboration as there isn't anyone more ideal."

The Howie Mandel SEE Eyewear glasses collection can be purchased here, and prices range from $339-$449.

Howie and Jackelyn now host a podcast together called Howie Mandel Does Stuff. In an interview with Access Hollywood, Mandel talked about how the project came to be.

“[The podcast] came out of the fact that during the pandemic, we couldn’t see each other—we would spend hours on the phone together, me and Jackie — and we’d be making prank calls, and we would be just laughing, and being inappropriate, and pranking her mom, just having fun,” he explained. “My wife would walk in and go, ‘Who is this for, what is this even for?’ And I’d go, ‘We’re just having fun.'”
