This Pic of Chris Meloni Water-skiing Proves He Really Can Do Anything

The Law & Order: Organized Crime star looks like a natural riding the waves!

By Jackie Manno

On August 15, Law & Order: Organized Crime star Chris Meloni took to his official Instagram page to share the most epic photo of himself water-skiing. In the cool snapshot, Meloni is decked out in some swim trunks and a life vest while he hangs onto a rope with determination, and a wave of water trails behind him.

How to Watch

Watch Law & Order: Organized Crime Thursdays at 10/9c on NBC and next day on Peacock.

The next photos from his Instagram carousel show him dining with a friend, and we also get a glimpse of his dog and some delicious food he's prepared. "Summer: Play. Friends. Dogs helping clean up after…slow-cooked ribs. Garden tomatoes," he captioned the post.

Meloni has surely had an eventful summer. He also recently went hiking with his 22-year-old daughter, Sophia. However, Meloni revealed the two hit some road bumps on the way home when their scooters apparently gave out on them. Luckily, they're safe and sound now!

"Hike with @sophiameloni, scooter home," Meloni captioned the Instagram post. "First one was low. Switch to another. Only to have it conk out at the West Hollywood/ Beverly Hills borderline. I don’t think scooters are allowed in Beverly Hills.

In a 2022 interview with People, Meloni discussed how he feels about a certain nickname he's been given by fans: "Zaddy."

"It's a gas. It's fun. I don't know, has anyone else been crowned 'Zaddy?' Once it's bestowed upon you, you have to just ride that horse as long as you can," he told the outlet, clearly with a good sense of humor.

As for how his family feels about the title, the reactions have apparently been mixed. His wife, Sherman Williams, is accepting, but his children are embarrassed. "My wife, she's lovely, she gets it. Meaning she's like, 'Eh, whatever.' My kids, on the other hand, invariably once a month, it's 'Really? Really?'" he said. "Their friends will send them a meme that's come out or whatever. But I think secretly in their hearts, they get it. It's cool, because we all have a good goof with it. My children's friends bust my chops, but it's all fun. It's an honor."

He continued, "Age is a wondrous thing. You hope that with time you get a little wiser, get a little more patient and really come from a place of more maturity, which I translate to clarity and love. And by love, it's not kumbaya, but a sense we're all in this together, we're all doing the best we can. It's a more refined way to operate. [It's] Really just having an attitude of enjoying the ride. It's great. Are you kidding me? I'm 61-years-old and a 'Zaddy.' The lucky streak continues."
