The Voice Season 22 Winner Bryce Leatherwood put a country spin on Adele's smash hit piano ballad "Easy on Me", and you won't want to miss his unique interpretation.

Watch the Season 26 premiere of The Voice on Monday, September 23 at 8/7c on NBC and next day on Peacock. 

During his cover, Leatherwood strummed on his acoustic guitar and crooned the emotional lyrics in a rich tone, using his signature deep country twang.

"If Adele went country..." he wrote in a caption of the the clip.

What to know about "Easy on Me" by Adele

From her 2021 fourth studio album titled 30, "Easy on Me" reached the number one position on the Billboard Hot 100 Charts. It also won a Grammy Award for Best Pop Solo Performance, and was nominated for Record of the Year and Song of the Year. Lyrically, the song tells a story of someone asking for understanding for past mistakes after a difficult breakup. 

"Easy on Me" was praised by critics. "Adele’s first new song in six years lives up to expectations because her ability to convey raw emotion through her voice and songwriting remains extraordinary," NME wrote.
