America's Got Talent Season 16 winner Dustin Tavella returned to the AGT stage to perform some magic with his signature inspirational tone. As a fun twist, Tavella welcomed judge Sofia Vergara and her fellow Modern Family alum Sarah Hyland as his dazzling assistants.

How to Watch

It's no surprise that Tavella wowed the crowd and the rest of the all-star judging panel with his incredible talent.

Tavella's acts often utilize a core pillar of magic: the participant's free will, or at least the illusion that they're in the driver's seat. This time around, Tavella instructed both ladies to make simple choices, and by the end of the act, the audience was floored by how everything fell into place.

In addition to the spectacular show, it was fun to witness the reunion between Hyland, who has now gone on to host Love Island USA on Peacock, and Vergara, who is making dreams just like Tavella's come true on AGT

In an April 2022 interview with NBC Insider, Tavella opened up about how his passion for magic developed at a young age, later finding music, and subsequently rediscovering his love for magic in adulthood.

"There's something about magic that's so amazing: The connection that it creates with people. The ability to take someone back to that place of when they were a child," Tavella told NBC Insider. "It kind of helps people just tear those walls down and remember what it is to connect with a human being. So when I kind of rediscovered magic, I fell in love with it all over again."
