Mark-Paul Gosselaar (Saved by the Bell) is ready to dive back into playing the creepy kidnapper Sir on Found.

How to Watch

Watch Found on NBC and Peacock.

The actor attended the Law & Order: Special Victims Unit 25th Anniversary Celebration at the Edge at Hudson Yards in New York City on January 16, alongside the star of Found, Shanola Hampton.

Hampton (Shameless) plays kidnapping survivor Gabi Mosely who now solves other missing person cases with the help of her former kidnapper who’s locked up in her basement (Gosselaar).

The pulse-racing TV drama, which just aired its Season 1 finale, is set to return with another season on NBC. Here's what Gosselaar had to say about the new batch of episodes.

Mark-Paul Gosselaar Teases Found Season 2

Gosselaar chatted with NBC Insider at the red carpet and gave his reaction to the exciting news.

“Oh my gosh … we’re so, so blessed and happy and yeah, it’s the best thing that could happen,” Gosselaar said at the event. “It’s exactly what we wanted, so to finally to get the nod and to get a 22-episode [season] is amazing."

Gosselaar revealed to NBC Insider he's already chatted with showrunner Nkechi Okoro Carroll about plans for his character in season 2.

“We have gotten very broad strokes from our showrunner and it all sounds unhinged and just amazing and can’t wait to get in there,” Gosselaar said.

In an interview with Collider, Gosselaar further teased where the new season will go.

“I’ve been told one thing that I thought was interesting, and I don’t think I should tell you because it would be a reveal, but I know where he’s gonna go in the middle of the season and it makes sense,” Gosselaar told Collider. “We’ve all wondered, ‘How long can this relationship sustain in an environment that has no boundaries?’ [Carroll] is gonna put Sir into something where he’s contained and he can stay in the picture for a long time.”

Although, “every show you ever do is a gamble,” Gosselaar has enjoyed working on the show and with this cast.

“I’m excited for the audience to see what we do next [season],” Gosselaar told Collider, adding: “It continued to build throughout the entire season and what [Nkechi] has planned for the second season, for all the fans out there, is just bonkers. I always get asked ‘How do you get in the mindset of Sir? How do you find this character?’ And it’s all on the page. With [Nkechi], it’s there. We’re very spoiled on this show.”

Gosselaar also posed for pictures with his wife, Catriona McGinn, and even answered questions with his co-star Hampton at the Law & Order: Special Victims Unit Anniversary party. The event marked 25 years of SVU

Mariska Hargitay dazzled in a stunning sequined dress and reunited with Gosselaar on the carpet, which was decked out in blue for the momentous occasion. The pair embraced and took a picture together.

Gosselaar played opposite Hargitay and Chris Meloni as a guest star on SVU in season 3.

“They were very sweet to me and I’ll forever remember that,” Gosselaar previously told NBC Insider about his experience working on the show.

While there’s no indication of a cross-over between Found and SVU, “it’d be pretty amazing for Shanola and [Mariska] to share the screen,” Gosselaar said when asked about the possibility.

Gosselaar and Hampton attended the event to support and celebrate their fellow members of the “NBC family,” he explained.

“25 years is a special accomplishment,” Gosselaar said of the SVU festivities. “It couldn’t happen to better people. I’ve been on other shows of Dick Wolf and they’re just a good group.”

If offered the chance to play his conniving, controlling character Sir on Found for 25 years, Gosselaar doesn’t shy away from the challenge.

“Listen, if they want me to play Sir for even five years I’m totally in for it,” Gosselaar said. “If I got 25, I’d be there for every single day and would love the experience and hope that I could do it with as much grace .. .as the rest of the cast of SVU.”

Season 25 of SVU premieres Thursday, January 18 at 9/8c, followed by the season 4 premiere of Law & Order: Organized Crime at 10/9c

Season 1 of Found is streaming now on Peacock.
