Mariska Hargitay Shares Glimpse at Date Night with Her Husband at the U.S. Open
The Law & Order: Special Victims Unit star and her spouse withstood the heat for love of the sport.

On September 5, the Law & Order: Special Victims Unit star and her husband Peter Hermann attended the US Open in Queens, New York. To honor the occasion, Hargitay posted the sweetest selfie of her and Hermann enjoying the event from the crowd.
In the picture, Hargitay and Hermann leaned their heads together and posed for the camera with smirks on their faces. In the caption, Hargitay expressed her gratitude for attending the game, and noted how hot it was outside.

The outing comes shortly after the couple celebrated their 19-year wedding anniversary on August 28. To celebrate the wonderful milestone, Hargitay posted a rare, vintage snapshot of the two dancing at their wedding.
"19 years. Best dance of my life. Only dance of my life," Hargitay gushed in the caption.
Harigtay and Hermann clearly like to spend some quality time together, as they also had a relaxing getaway at the Kew Gardens in the London Royal Botanic Gardens this July. In the snapshots, she and Hermann post together while smiling in front of the gorgeous scenery.
Then, in June, the two took a romantic trip to Italy. Hargitay shared some sweet pictures of her and her husband kissing on a boat, and we also caught a glimpse of them standing inside a building with gorgeous architecture while the sun beamed directly on them.

Hermann is also an actor, as he and Hargitay met when he had a role on Law & Order: Special Victims Unit in 2002, and thy tied the knot two years later.
In a 2018 interview with People, Hargitay gushed over Hermann. “My husband is my North Star, and my kids are my teachers," she said. "Our family is so perfect, or at least perfect for me. Together we’re just this whole, happy, joyful, chaotic, crazy unit. I’ve never known anything that was more right. Peter and I, we're so different that it's been amazing how we complement each other. He knows everything I don't," she said.

She expressed similar sentiment in another interview with People a year later. "We sort of knew that we found the right one," she said. "I never thought it could be this good, and I never knew that I’d be reminded on the journey, that I’d marry the right one. That I waited and married the right one, and it’s better than I thought it was. Because sometimes you take a snapshot and you go, ‘I can’t believe this is my life.’"
