About "Hallelujah" by Leonard Cohen 

"Hallelujah" is a track off Cohen's 1984 album Various Positions. It reached another height in 2001 when John Cale and Rufus Wainwright's versions of the song appeared in the Shrek (2001) movie and soundtrack, respectively.
