How to Watch NBC's The Wall

Millions of dollars are at stake in this trivia game that is truly the most unpredictable show on television.

By Jessica White

If you're looking for a game show that perfectly combines trivia knowledge with pure luck in the quest for grand cash prizes, then NBC's The Wall is for you.

Starting in 2016 and hosted by beloved actor and TV personality Chris Hardwick, The Wall has become an NBC fan favorite as its awarded Contestants over $11 million to date. Serving a larger-than-life twist to the classic pachinko game, the four-story tall Wall is the only thing blocking teammates from life-changing cash prizes.

To conquer The Wall, you must first understand the rules. Teammates are asked a trivia question, and if they answer correctly, they are granted the coveted green ball that will fall down the ominously towering Wall. The ball will land in one of the slots with various cash amounts available for the taking, and the slot's amount increases their winning total. If players answer the question incorrectly, a dreaded red ball falls and deducts money from their winnings.

The Wall offers countless different outcomes, with the stakes increasing as teammates are split up and tested individually in the second round. The Wall is a wildly unpredictable game; one moment teammates are scoring thousands, but with just one missed question, they could be one bounce away from losing it all.

Season 4 introduced fans of The Wall to the brand-new "Superdrop," where seven balls are dropped at once, dramatically increasing the potential cash prizes. Working together, teammates will combine their knowledge to try to collect as much money as possible before their luck runs out. $13 million of potential winnings are at stake, but teammates must first conquer The Wall to reap all its glory.
