Contestants always work together to answer questions correctly, which triggers a green ball to fall down the 40-foot Plinko-style wall to add earnings to the Player's total, called the bank. If a question is answered incorrectly, a red ball drops and deducts money from the team's bank.
Those balls can fall in varying locations across the board, causing Players' banks to fluctuate dramatically. Contestants always compete in pairs, which demands some mighty trust and teamwork to keep earnings high.
