American Song Contest Everything We Know

American Song Contest is finally here. For the next two months, we'll see 56 musical Artists—each representing a U.S. state, territory, or Washington, D.C.—compete for the title of Best Original Song. The concept is inspired by the mega-hit Eurovision Song Contest, which has been watched by millions in Europe for the past 60-plus years.

And with the delightful Snoop Dogg and Kelly Clarkson as Hosts, you won't want to miss one second of the musical extravaganza. Read ahead to learn all you need to know about how to watch American Song Contest.

How can I watch or stream American Song Contest?

You can tune in to your local NBC channel to watch it every Monday, or stream it at the same time on NBC.com using your cable provider. If you miss it that night, full episodes are also available the next morning on NBC.com. Reruns from the week before will also air every Sunday night at 7 p.m. ET on NBC.

What is the series schedule?

American Song Contest is running for a total of eight weeks, and like the premiere, airs live Mondays from 8 to 10 p.m. ET on NBC. There are a total of three rounds:

  • Five Qualifying Rounds, with *11 Artists in each episode: March 21, 28; April 4, 11, 18
  • Two Semi-Final Rounds, with 10 Artists in each episode: April 25, May 2
  • The Grand Final, with 10 Artists: May 9
