Gwen Stefani Reflects On First Red Carpet Date With Blake Shelton

Gwen Stefani has the most hilarious idea about what to give her husband, Blake Shelton, to honor his last season on The Voice.

How to Watch

Watch The Voice Mondays and Tuesdays at 8/7c on NBC and next day on Peacock.

“This is crazy ’cause everyone’s coming after me for ideas, ‘What should we do?’ and it’s hard, you know, he has everything,” she told ET Canada. “But I think his favorite thing would be a bag of corn, like honestly, he would be so thrilled. Or fertilizer or something like that." Looks like the country star enjoys the simple pleasures in life!

The No Doubt singer also confessed that she likes to make playful jabs at her hubby while on the Voice set, where they are fellow Coaches. “I was definitely pressing [my button during the Blind Auditions] when Blake would press, ’cause I like to mess with him, but I also like to follow his taste,” she said.

Shelton announced a few months back that Season 23 would be his last as a Coach on The Voice. “This show has changed my life in every way for the better, and it will always feel like home to me. It’s been a hell of a ride over these 12 years of chair turns, and I want to thank everyone at The Voice from NBC, every producer, the writers, musicians, crew and catering people, you are the best,” he said in a statement.

He continued, “I have to give a huge shoutout to the singers–the ‘Voices,’ who come on this stage season after season and amaze us with their talent, and a special thanks to those who chose me to be their Coach. Lastly, it’s about y’all, the fans, who watch and support these Artists, us Coaches, and everyone at The Voice who are chasing their dreams. It would not happen without you!"
