Gwen Stefani Talks Camila Cabello & Blake Shelton Rivalry On 'The Voice'

The Voice Coach Gwen Stefani blessed us with her presence on The Kelly Clarkson Show on October 3 and gave us some exclusive details on the competitive nature between her fellow Coaches Blake Shelton and Camila Cabello.

How to Watch

Watch The Voice Mondays and Tuesdays at 8/7c on NBC and next day on Peacock.

While Shelton has been an original Coach since Season 1 of The Voice, Cabello recently joined as a new face for Season 22, as Clarkson left the show. Stefani, of course, noticed the similarities between Clarkson and Cabello’s bubbly personalities. “She just talks a lot and she’s competitive, and she’s you!” Stefani commented.

Speaking of competitive: The two also spoke on the playful rivalry between Cabello and Shelton. “When she came on the show I was like, 'I’m so excited for her to go against Blake,'” Clarkson said.

“It was crazy, ‘cause the first few days, I felt like it took her a couple days to really get there. And after the first, ‘Shut up, Blake,’ it was on,” Stefani added. “Finally, she goes, ‘Shut up, Blake,’ and then it was, like, this whole thing happened."

“It’s a really great moment for the rest of us,” Clarkson chimed in.

“It feels good to say, 'Shut up, Blake,'” Stefani said with a nod.

“It’s a really incredible show, and I love doing it so much,” the “Just a Girl” singer added.
