How to Ring in the New Year 2024 at Universal Studios

Universal Studios Hollywood is many things during the year: a theme park, a graduation celebration space, a Halloween mecca and a holiday season destination. Add New Year's Eve to the list as the park is going to be one big, outdoor dance party to ring in 2024 with their one-night EVE celebration. An all ages family event, EVE combines the best of the theme park with event add-ons like music, photo ops and a countdown to a huge fireworks display at midnight.
With the purchase of a Universal Studios theme park ticket on December 31, guests will not only get to enjoy the whole of the theme park but get extended hours until 2:00 a.m., and that list of New Year's specific extras. EVE extras included with the ticket
Universal Studios Hollywood ticket holders on Dec. 31 can enter the park when turnstiles and experience a whole day of theme park fun in popular areas such as Super Nintendo World, Jurassic World, The Wizarding World of Harry Potter and the world-famous Universal Backlot Tram Tour which all will be operational per usual during operating hours.
Then at 9:00 p.m., EVE will officially start with various dance party zones led by separate DJs spinning pop, rock and hip-hop to EDM and Latin music. There will be many EVE-themed photo opportunities staged throughout the park so guests can social their NYE fun. And leading into midnight, guests can pick their favorite spots from the Upper Lot or the Lower Lot to countdown to 2024 with winter snowfall and confetti leading up to and the huge fireworks display that will light up the sky.
One last night of holiday-themed fun
December 31 also marks the penultimate day for Universal Studios Hollywood's “Christmas in The Wizarding World of Harry Potter” featuring the nightly projected light show and fireworks spectacular, “The Magic of Christmas at Hogwarts Castle.” Potter lovers get one last chance to order the Festive Roast Dinner at The Three Broomsticks or see the Choir of Frogs live show near Hogwarts Castle. And for the Grinch lovers, catch the last of the Who-bilation events of “Grinchmas” with the singing, tree lighting, pictures with Max the dog and more.

Adult fun with specialty cocktails and food for the celebration
For guests over 21-years old with valid ID, there will be wristbands that allow for the purchase of special cocktails created for the night, plus champagne, beer and wine. Stations around the park will have food purchase selections special to the night along with some of the regular dining options within the park.
