Gwen Stefani Accidentally Whacked Camila in the Face in New Voice Outtakes

It was all in good fun!

Gwen and Camila’s Adorable Friendship and More | NBC's The Voice Knockouts 2022 Outtakes

Throughout Season 22 of The Voice, we have seen many hilarious backstage antics. And a new clip of outtakes shows the adorable friendship between Gwen Stefani and Camila Cabello.

In the clip, above, we see Stefani waving towards the camera. When she mimicked the peek-a-boo movement, she outstretched her arms right as Cabello was approaching her side, and accidentally whacked her in the face! Stefani then gasped.

However, no hard feelings here, as Cabello giggled in amusement as the two embraced. “I’m sorry, Camila!” Stefani exclaimed. “I liked it,” Cabello responded playfully.

“You’re so cute. You go, ‘I liked it,'” Stefani said with a smile while impersonating Cabello’s voice. How adorable!

Later in the clip, we see the two comparing hand sizes. “You have little, tiny hands!” Stefani told Cabello. But she took back that statement upon further inspection. “Oh, I guess they’re the same,” she said, referring to both of their long, glamorous nails.

Stefani has been known to speak fondly of Cabello’s presence on The Voice, especially her playful rivalry with Blake Shelton. “She just talks a lot and she’s competitive,” she said about Cabello while on The Kelly Clarkson Show. “It was crazy, ‘cause the first few days, I felt like it took her a couple days to really get there. And after the first, ‘Shut up, Blake,’ it was on. Finally, she goes, ‘Shut up, Blake,’ and then it was, like, this whole thing happened."

To see more cute banter between the Coaches, watch The Voice on NBC Mondays and Tuesdays at 8/7c and next day on Peacock.
