SNL's Heidi Gardner Reunites with Host Dan Levy in Hilarious Super Bowl Ads

Ready to go house hunting?

By Christopher Rudolph

Dan Levy is going from Good Grief to helping you find a good home.

How to Watch

Watch Saturday Night Live Saturdays at 11:30/10:30c on NBC and next day on Peacock.

On February 11, the Emmy-winning Schitt's Creek star returned to TV screens to star in one of the many high profile ads that aired during the Super Bowl. In ads for commercial for Homes.com, Levy plays the new owner of the company, who presents his bold new vision for the house hunting website.

"So I hear some of you are concerned about the fact that I am taking over the company from my great uncle," he says to the board sitting around the large table as he enters the Homes.com offices. Accompanying Levy is his executive, Marci, played by SNL's Heidi Gardner.

"I actually heard some 'I'm terrifieds', like from Dave," Gardner says, calling out one of the men in the meeting.

"Rest assured, Dave, the company is in great hands," the actor responds.

Levy then continues with his presentation, which includes using a helicopter to travel to different neighborhoods around the country, and hiring "top experts" to get potential buys "insider info on local schools."

A split of Heidi Gardner and Dan Levy

The expert in this case is rapper Lil Wayne, who makes a cameo in a school, asking students' opinions on Meatloaf Mondays, and showing them what a bag full of "100 Gs" looks like.

The familiar faces don't stop there. To make his presentation extra memorable, Levy uses the Homes.com helicopter to lift a giant champagne bottle outside of the high rise office building. The bottle bursts open, sending the cork crashing through windows, flying across the floor, and eventually embedding itself into the wall above the receptionist's desk.

It is then revealed that Jeff Goldblum, reprising his role as Brad Bellflower from his Apartments.com ad, has been sitting in on the meeting the whole time.

Levy and Gardner also appeared together in two additional Homes.com Super Bowl ads. In one, Levy takes Gardner to get a makeover at different hair salons, and in the other Levy infiltrates a local high school football game as the school mascot. As you can guess, both commercials end in comedic disaster.

The ads are a reunion for the two actors. Gardner has been an SNL cast member since 2017, and Levy hosted an episode on February 6, 2021.

Perhaps Homes.com got the idea to hire them after seeing their "Zillow" SNL digital short? Watch their hilarious new Homes.com ads below.
