Shakira Took Her Lookalike Sons, Sasha & Milan, to the VMAs: See the Sweet Pics

Shakira's sons just supported their mother on a very special night!
When the former The Voice Coach (Seasons 4 and 6) attended the MTV VMA Awards on September 12, she took her two mini-me sons, Milan, 9, and Sasha, 7, on the red carpet with her. There, she stunned in a golden, sparkly gown and wore her sandy brown hair down in loose waves, while Milan and Sasha proudly stood next to her in matching Versace track suits, and she lovingly put her arms around their shoulders.
At the VMAs, Shakira was there to accept the prestigious Video Vanguard Award, which honors those who have made significant contributions to pop culture with their music videos. There, she performed an amazing medley of her iconic hits, and even crowd surfed.
“Shakira is a true global force who continues to inspire and influence the masses with her unique, musical prowess,” Bruce Gillmer, Paramount and chief content officer, Music, Paramount+, said in a press release, via Hola!.
“She’s a trailblazer for women around the world and one of the first artists to lead the globalization of Latin music. Her massive impact across the musical landscape will be long-lasting as she continues to create and entertain at the highest level.”

Shakira clearly likes to spend quality time with her two boys. This July, the "She Wolf" singer also shared the most heartwarming snapshots of her attending a Dodgers game with Sasha and Milan. In the pictures, the three sit next to each other in the crowd and smile, before they sing a song together in Spanish.
"At the Dodgers game with the kiddos last night! amazing game!" she captioned the post. How sweet!
Shakira talks about parenthood
In a 2016 interview with PopSugar, she discussed how becoming a mother changed her life. "It’s shifted the axis of my universe. Everything is centered around them now. It’s a new dimension of love, at least for me, that’s indescribable. It’s also helped me be more disciplined overall about sticking to a schedule now, because you’re forced to prioritize. Before I was my own boss, but I have two tiny bosses to answer to now."

She continued: “That the foundation of every level of development―social, emotional, cognitive, physical―depends on an abundance of love. You can never show you love them too much.
