Earlier this week, Deal or No Deal Island Host Joe Manganiello brought his chihuahua, Bubbles, to the late-night talk show, and now Millie Bobby Brown is following in his paw prints.

On February 29, the Stranger Things star stopped by The Tonight Show to talk with Host Jimmy Fallon about her upcoming Netflix fantasy-adventure film, Damsel.

In her new movie, Brown faces off against a terrifying dragon and does some pretty scary stunts, but luckily she had a comforting companion on set: Her dog Winnie the poodle.

"She just thrives on sets and studios," Brown told Fallon after he brought up meeting her furry friend backstage. Winnie then came out onstage and joined Millie on the couch to the delight of the audience.

"She knows when I'm acting, and she knows when I'm actually really upset," explained Brown as Winnie sat posing for the cameras. "She knows when I'm fake crying. She knows the camera. She doesn't really care about human attention, she cares about the audience. She's been on the cover of magazines. She knows a camera and she works it."

In addition to Winnie, Fallon also met Brown's fiancé, Jake Bongiovi, backstage, which prompted Brown to tell her unique proposal story.

"I haven't told anyone this... But I think this is too good of a story to not tell," teased Brown. "Jake and I bonded over diving. We love diving, we got our diving licenses together. One day we were on vacation and he was like, 'Mil, you've got to be up at 8:00 AM we're going on a dive.' And I was like, '8:00 AM dive?'"

She explained how they ended up going to their usual diving spot, and while they were "many meters down, he gives me a shell, and I turn it over and it's a ring."

After indicating "yes," Brown said, "He puts the ring on my hand and as I go to show him, the ring falls off my finger, plummets, so fast it was like a cinematic movie. Jake threw himself so deep, he does a cinematic grab and he saved the ring. I truly feel it's a reflection of who he is, and I feel like we're always going to have each other's back and if anyone drops the ball we got it."

When they returned to the surface, Bongiovi properly asked Brown to marry him, presenting her with her mom's ring. "It was very magical," she added.
