Kelly Clarkson threw it back to the '80s pop scene with an October 2023 Kellyoke.
On October 26, Clarkson sang an early Madonna hit called "Lucky Star" and totally made it her own.
During her cover, Clarkson grooved to the upbeat rhythm, and pulled off some powerful belts during the bridge. And as always, the background singers meshed with her voice perfectly, and the sound of her band was totally on point.

Released off her 1983 self-titled debut album, "Lucky Star" was one of Madonna's first hits, reaching the number-four position on the Billboard Hot 100 chart.
Known for its disco-pop production, "Lucky Star" is acclaimed by critics today. In August 2023, USA Today ranked it as the 13th best Madonna song, praising its "cascade of synth notes and a glistening melody."
