America's Got Talent Season 5 runner-up Jackie Evancho appeared on Good Morning America on January 24 to perform her recent single, "Behind My Eyes." And she sounded beautiful.
During her performance, her classic vocals blended in perfectly with the piano notes and synths before she crooned the chorus confidently.

"Behind My Eyes" is a single by Jackie Evancho released in September 2023. The production resembles '80s new-wave pop, and the vulnerable lyrics tell the story of battling dark thoughts.
Evancho opened up about the song's message for World Mental Health Day. ""The impact that I'm hoping this will have on people with mental illness is that, of course, I don't want them to feel so alone," she said. "But I also wanna touch on things that a lot of people don't really talk about, but we all universally feel, and to show that it's OK to struggle with these things."
