These 5 America’s Got Talent Auditions Will Make You Smile Even on Your Worst Day

The Amazing Shoji is just...well, amazing.

By Christopher Rosa

We've found it: The video that will fill the hole in your heart left by America’s Got Talent Season 16 ending. Drum roll, please: It’s—wait for it—a compilation of the five best auditions from the season!

How to Watch

Watch the Season 19 premiere of America’s Got Talent Tuesday, May 28 at 8/7c on NBC and next day on Peacock

You’re probably thinking, “But I’ve seen these! The season is over! I need more auditions! New auditions!.” Well, first: Don’t fret. Season 17 of AGT will be here before you know it. But trust us when we tell you watching these five specific auditions in a row will deliver the boost of serotonin you desperately need.

It starts with The Amazing Shoji and his, well, amazing ability to make coins disappear. Then, we move onto Hello Sister, whose pop-punk sound would make Olivia Rodrigo proud. Up next: Prepare to melt all over again as Mike Goodwin explains how he became a comedian to make his mother laugh.

The chuckles roar on with comedian Gina Brillon’s set. (When she calls her husband “farm-to-table white?” Come on. It’s too good!) Last but certainly not least, we have Kabir Singh, another brilliant comedian who opened up about supporting his mother through stand-up after his father passed. “This one’s for dad and all of us and for the future,” Singh tells his mom backstage on the phone. “I’m gonna take care of business today.” And he did!

Try not smiling during this 20-minute compilation. You’ll fail miserably—and your soul will be better for it.

While you wait for America's Got Talent Season 17, you can watch America's Got Talent: Extreme right now, airing Mondays at 8 p.m. ET on NBC.
