Alicia Keys Shows off Socks with a Photo of Her Husband on Them for Valentine's

The former The Voice Coach gave her husband a subtle shoutout with her attire.

By Jackie Manno

A few days after her surprise Super Bowl Halftime appearance alongside Usher, Alicia Keys showed her love for her husband in a grand gesture.

How to Watch

Watch The Voice Mondays and Tuesdays at 8/7c on NBC and next day on Peacock.

This Valentine's Day, the former The Voice Coach (Seasons 11, 12, 14) shared the most romantic snapshots of herself embracing husband Swizz Beatz. In the pictures, she sat on his lap while on what appears to be a private jet. But the best part? She wore a pair of socks with what appears to be a photo of herself and the music producer printed on them. If that doesn't say love, then what does?

''I love u sooo deeply
Beyond words
Beyond lifetimes
Beyond skies and universes
We soar!!!!'' she poetically gushed in the caption.

Later that day, she posted another intimate moment between her and the hubby, sharing some black and white photographs of her sitting on his lap and grinning ear to ear.

''You mesmerize me……I can’t wait to spend the rest of forever loving you,'' she wrote on the post.

All about Alicia Keys' and Swizz Beatz' relationship

Keys, who was born Alicia Augello-Cook, met Swizz Beatz (whose real name is Kasseem Dean) through a mutual friend when Keys was 14 and Beats was 16. However, the two didn't start dating until they reconnected to work on a project together in 2008, as Swizz Beatz had established his career as a record producer.

“The more we talked the more I noticed how his mind worked. Beyond the baggy jeans and arm tats there was depth. He was so aware of what was happening in the world,” Keys wrote about what drew her to her future husband in her 2020 memoir titled More Myself: A Journey.

The two then got married in July 2010, and they now have two sons together: 13-year-old Egypt Daoud Dean and 9-year-old Genesis Ali Dean. They also co-parent  Beatz’s three children from his previous marriage: Prince Nasir, 22, Kasseem Jr., 16, Nicole, 14.

In a recent interview with People, the ''If I Ain't Got You'' singer opened up about how the relationship has changed her for the better.

“I spent a lot of relationships not really saying how I actually felt, and they fell apart,” she told the outlet. “If you can’t speak your truth, then you can’t be yourself. That’s a key! I don’t worry about speaking to him, even about the hard things, and I think he feels the same. I know that I can tell him what I really feel.”

She also gushed about how talented her partner is as an artist. “My husband — every second, it’s noise. But that’s him, and I love it. He is the best DJ in the universe, and we walk down the street, and it’s a party. It’s amazing.

''We have a lot fun. We laugh a lot. He’s really silly, I’m really silly,” she added of what makes them so compatible as a couple.
