AGT Just Received an Amazing Emmy Nomination

Release the confetti, Golden Buzzer-style.

By Christopher Rosa

America's Got Talent continues to dazzle year after year. As longtime Judge Heidi Klum told Access last year, "Nothing gets redundant, and nothing gets the same [about the show].  Every day is new and different. [The Judges and Host] might be the same, but you see all these crazy, different people on the stage. We're having the best time. I always call it a 'rollercoaster of emotions,' because a person comes and they're singing. The next is an aerialist. The next one is a contortionist or a comedian. Everyone has a story to tell because they're real people. They're not actors. This is not a movie. This is real life. It's always fun to hear the stories...it never gets boring."

How to Watch

Watch America’s Got Talent Tuesdays at 8/7c on NBC and next day on Peacock

It's only fitting a show that never gets boring receive an Emmy nomination —  which is exactly what happened this year! Congrats to AGT on the nod. Read, below, to find out more information:

"We've met the most incredible people along the way and that's a big reason of why I love doing this show," Judge and AGT executive producer Simon Cowell said. "That is what keeps me on the show. I love that part of it. I love that first Audition when you see someone's true talent and you go, 'Yeah, this is a moment.'"

He continued, "And when you see them out in the real world, doing well off the back of one of your shows, it's the best feeling in the world. That's why you go into the show every year with that feeling of anticipation, going that we could find that person again. And that's a great feeling."

AGT Season 18 is currently airing right now. Be sure to watch Tuesdays at 8/7c on NBC. Episodes stream the next day on Peacock, so you won't miss any of the action.
