"They don't get impressed by anybody that I bring around, that I show them that I'm with, but they know that I sing and they like my songs, so I'm going to hold on to that while I can."

"I have the world's best dad currently," he said. "Most of the stuff that he showed me has been his dedication, his time management, his commitment to being truthful. It's all about what he's instilled in me. So, I wanna have the type of relationship where I'm a trusted figure beyond a dad. I wanna be a good friend and a good example."

When he isn't spinning his red chair, Chance and his family live in a suburb 30 miles north of their hometown, Chicago, as reported by the Chicago Tribune.

When was Chance the Rapper's daughter, Kensli Bennett, born?

Chance's eldest daughter, Kensli Bennett, was born on September 21, 2015, as revealed by his Instagram announcement. " I love this time in my life, and I've learned to love better because of it," Chance captioned the post. "I wanted make a grandiose and poetic statement with her weight and size and DOB to show how much this means to me, but I think it'd be more appropriate and fatherly of me to just say thanks to those who helped us during this pregnancy."

In a 2020 interview with People, Chance gushed over Kensli's humor and lively personality.

"Kensli says really funny stuff and she's very, very advanced for her age," Chance said. "I know all parents say that about their kids, but it's ridiculous. She's so intelligent and she just speaks. She's very opinionated too. She says exactly how she feels about stuff. She's 4, but she acts like a 7 year old that's acting like she's 13."

Chance has spoken on numerous occasions about how Kensli's birth completely changed his outlook on life and love.

“There was never a point, ever, in my life where I can remember loving someone as much or more than I love my mom until I met my daughter [Kensli],” Chance told Complex. “So, it made me understand that my mom loves me more than she loves anybody in the world, and that’s crazy to me.”

When was Chance the Rapper's daughter, Marli Grace Bennett, born?

Chance and Corley welcomed their second daughter, Marli Grace Bennett, on August 29, 2019. Corley announced the birth via Instagram with a picture of the newborn, captioning the post: "Our sweet baby girl, Marli, is here."

Chance first broke the big news of the pregnancy within weeks of his and Corley's wedding day. In an Instagram post, Chance captioned the announcement, "New baby droppin' September," alongside a message revealing they were expecting a girl.

Shortly following Marli's birth, Chance postponed his tour for his debut studio album, The Big Day, out of a desire to spend more time with his newborn and family.

"When Kensli was born, I went on tour 2 weeks later and missed some of the most important milestones in her life, but more importantly I was absent when her mother needed me the most," Chance captioned the Instagram announcement. "At this point as a husband and father of two, I realize that I can’t make that mistake again. I need to be as helpful and available as possible to my wife in these early months of raising Kensli and Marli."

In a 2020 interview with People, Chance reflected on his marriage and fatherhood and his appreciation for having more time with his family amid the pandemic. During this time, Chance celebrated a precious milestone — Marli's first word, "Dada."

"I've been waking up daily with a newfound gratitude and being very grateful that I'm married right now," Chance explained. "The fact that me, my daughters and my wife all live in one house together is a huge, huge blessing, so I've just been taking that in."
