Gaia Scodellaro stars as Sister Celine Leonti, a wide-eyed innocent nun recently assigned to work alongside foul-mouthed priest Father Jude (Rob Lowe) on NBC's apocalyptic comedic drama "You, Me and the Apocalypse."

Born in Naples, Italy and raised in New York, Scodellaro developed her love of acting at Manhattanville College. However, it wasn't until moving back to Naples that she began to pursue her dream. In 2009, she performed her first role in the burlesque show "Ambrosia," directed by Patrick King.

Her television credits include a role on the Italian television series "Cugino e Cugino," the Italian soap opera "Centovetrine" and "Le Mani Dentro la Città." Additionally, Scodellaro appeared in the films "Watch Them Fall" and "Andròn - The Black Labyrinth."
