Volcano in Iceland becomes area’s first eruption in nearly 800 years

A long dormant volcano in Iceland has erupted, spilling lava down two sides. It has become the area’s first eruption in nearly 800 years. Glow from the lava could be seen about 20 miles away in the capital, Reykjavik, but evacuations are not expected.
