Vaccine mandates for kids are ‘reasonable to consider,’ surgeon general says

Vice Adm. Vivek Murthy, the U.S. surgeon general, joins TODAY to discuss the White House’s plan to vaccinate tens of millions of children. “We want to make sure that parents have answers to their questions, that they have accurate scientific information,” he says. Asked about the likelihood of vaccine mandates for children, he says, “It’s a reasonable thing to consider.”
