Eight years after 19-year-old Stephen Smith’s body was found on a rural road, authorities are admitting publicly for the first time they are investigating the case as a homicide. Smith's death was brought back into the spotlight as part of the investigation into the murders of Alex Murdaugh's wife and son. NBC’s Blayne Alexander reports for TODAY.
