Opal Lee, a 95-year-old Nobel Peace prize nominated activist and leader, recounts the long journey it took to get Juneteenth established as a federal holiday. She also shares ways to meaningfully honor the holiday, saying, "I think they should spend this special day helping somebody else. I find that when I help somebody else, all my problems seem to disappear.”
