Jacob Blake shooting: DOJ won't pursue charges against police officer

The Justice Department announced it will not file civil rights charges against Rusten Sheskey, the police officer who shot Jacob Blake in Kenosha, Wisconsin in the summer of 2020, citing a lack of evidence proving the use of excessive force. The shooting left Blake paralyzed from the waist down and sparked several days of violent protests.
