Dr. Philip Lee, who helped implement Medicare, dies at 96


Dr. Philip Lee, who joined the Department of Health, Education and Welfare in 1965 and focused on the implementation of the newly passed Medicare program, has died at age 96. Sunday TODAY’s Willie Geist remembers a life well lived.
