‘Christmas star’ formed by rare alignment of Jupiter and Saturn

On Monday night, the planets Jupiter and Saturn came into alignment to form a “Christmas star” that won’t be visible again until 2080. “Basically they caught up with each other,” explains TODAY’s Dylan Dreyer.
