CDC director signs off on Pfizer COVID booster shot for kids 5-11

The director of the CDC has signed off on Pfizer’s COVID-19 booster shot for kids aged 5 to 11, making the smaller doses now available. A review of Moderna’s application for that age group is “imminent,” the FDA commissioner says. NBC’s Gabe Gutierrez reports for TODAY.
