As TODAY’s celebration of the International Day of the Girl continues, Naheed Sarabi and Paralympic athlete Farzana Mohammadi, two women who fled Afghanistan, join the show live from Fort McCoy in Wisconsin to share their stories. “It’s so shattering to think that women and girls in Afghanistan are deprived of their basic rights,” Sarabi says.
