SELECTION OF QUARTER FINALISTS, SEMI-FINALISTS, FINALISTS AND GRAND PRIZE WINNER: There will be four (4) rounds of competition: Round 1: Selection of the Quarter Finalists; Round 2: Quarter Finals; Round 3: Semi-Finals; and Round 4: Finals.

Round 1: Selection of the Quarter Finalists: After the close of the Submission Window, one (1) or more qualified judges selected by Sponsors (“Initial Judges”) will review all eligible Entries received during the Submission Window and select up to thirty (30) quarter finalists (“Quarter Finalists”, each a “Quarter Finalist”) based on the following judging criteria (“Judging Criteria”): Originality (33.4%), Creativity (33.3%), and Vocal Ability (33.3%). Each Quarter Finalist will advance to Round 2: Quarter Finals, subject to verification of eligibility. The selection and review process may occur on a rolling basis as Entries are received. In the event of a tie, the Initial Judges will break the tie by selecting the tied entrant who received the highest points from the Initial Judges for Originality to advance to Round 2: Quarter Finals. In the event a tie remains, an additional tie-breaking judge will judge the tied Entries, using the Judging Criteria, to determine which of the tied Entries will advance to Round 2: Quarter Finals. Sponsors reserve the right to pick fewer than thirty (30) Quarter Finalists (or none at all) or to extend the Submission Window if the Contest does not receive a sufficient number of eligible and qualified Entries, as determined by Sponsors in their sole discretion. Sponsors may require that Quarter Finalists voluntarily submit to and complete a background check as a condition of continued eligibility.

Round 2: Quarter Finals: After the conclusion of Round 1, the Quarter Finalists will be assigned, in Sponsors’ sole discretion, to one or more coaches, mentors, or guest judges (collectively, “Voice Judges”, each a “Voice Judge”). Each Voice Judge will receive up to five (5) Quarter Finalists for their team (the “Team”) and will review the Quarter Finalists’ Videos and select up to two (2) Quarter Finalists per Team for a total of eight (8) semi-finalists (“Semi-Finalists”, each a “Semi-Finalist”) based on the Judging Criteria. In the event of a tie, the Initial Judges will break the tie by selecting the tied entrant who received the highest points from the Voice Judges for Originality to advance to Round 3: Semi-Finals. In the event a tie remains, an additional tie-breaking judge will judge the tied Quarter Finalists, using the Judging Criteria, to determine which of the tied Quarter Finalists will advance to Round 3: Semi-Finals.

Voice Judges may receive advice or assistance from other coaches, mentors, or guest judges in making their decision. Each Semi-Finalist will advance to Round 3: Semi-Finals. Sponsors reserve the right to pick fewer than eight (8) Semi-Finalists (or none at all).

Round 3: Semi-Finals: Semi-Finalists will be selected to advance to Round 4: Finals in one of three ways:

In the event a tie remains, the Initial Judges will judge the Duets according to the Judging Criteria and break the tie by selecting the tied entrant who received the highest points from the Initial Judges for Originality.  The Voting Period to Determine Finalists, voting rules and procedures and voting methods are subject to change, at the Sponsors’ sole discretion, and any changes will be posted on the Website. Finalists will advance to Round 4: Finals. In the event of a tie, the Initial Judges will judge the Semi-Final Performances according to the Judging Criteria and break the tie by selecting the tied entrant who received the highest points from the Initial Judges for Originality. In the event a tie remains, an additional tie-breaking judge will judge the Semi-Final Performances, using the Judging Criteria, to determine which of the tied entrant will advance to Round 4: Finals.
