TANNER MASSEY

  • Hometown: Choctaw, OK

Bio

Tanner grew up in an underground house built by his contractor grandfather, Billy, who designed and built the house as a precautionary measure against tornadoes and for its energy savings. Tanner shared a special bond with his grandpa, but unfortunately, he lost his battle with cancer three years ago. Tanner now wears his grandpa's dog tags as a constant reminder of his love and strength. Tanner has graced stages across Oklahoma since he was 12. He has performed the national anthem at prominent sporting events and was also a member of the esteemed kids' a cappella group Acapop! KIDS, led by Scott Hoying from Pentatonix. In a cover video, Tanner accumulated 16 million views on YouTube. Tanner also excels in acting and, during his early teens, would embark on trips to Los Angeles to audition for various acting opportunities.
