Anders was born in Canada to parents who wouldn’t allow a TV in the house. For entertainment, the family would sing together and at 15, Anders taught himself guitar. He fell in love with performing in high school after being invited onstage to play guitar at a jazz club. Anders spent the next 20 years traveling the world as a backup singer and musician. Last year Anders decided to move to Austin to pursue a solo career and he is ready for the spotlight on “The Voice.”
