Jordan spent some of his early years in New Orleans and credits the city for influencing his love of music. When Hurricane Katrina hit in 2005, Jordan’s family was forced to pack what they could and leave town. They eventually settled in Pensacola, but while struggling to find a new home base, Jordan turned to music to cope. He joined the church band and learned to play bass and drums but kept his singing private. Jordan is a recent high school graduate and has been posting videos online to build his following and confidence. “The Voice” will be Jordan’s first time singing for a live audience.
