While living through the water crisis in Flint, Brennen saw firsthand how hardship can bring people together. After seeing his town devastated, he didn’t think music was a realistic goal, but his father encouraged him to pursue his passion. Brennen joined the church worship band, learned guitar and won his first talent show as a junior in high school. Brennen has been living in Nashville for the past few months and works as a server while writing music.
