When Trey was 17, his father heard him sing for the first time and immediately took him to an open mic night. The bar owner was so impressed that he asked Trey to sing for the rest of the night. Shortly after starting college, Trey found out he was going to be a father and promptly dropped out of school in order to work. Trey has full custody of his two kids and plays gigs all over Texas five to six nights a week to provide for his family. No matter how busy Trey gets, he never misses a milestone in his kids' lives, even if it means driving through the night to catch a kindergarten graduation.
