Bransen did not discover his voice until he picked up the guitar one day in college. Within a few months, he started playing at open mics around Kansas City and eventually dropped out of school as his band received opportunities to open for notable acts coming through town, such as Gary Allen, Lee Brice and Big & Rich. At 22, Bransen started a family with his wife Jessica, her son Brayden and eventually a son of their own, Cash. With the support of his wife, Bransen and his family moved to Nashville, which proved to be very difficult at first. Now Bransen works at the Apple Genius Bar and Jessica has her own cleaning company.
