Raised in the farm town of Mason, Michigan, Rebecca grew up on country music. She started singing at age five and never stopped. As soon as she could, Rebecca left for the big city. At age 18, she moved to Chicago to pursue a career in music. She also transitioned from being a country singer to a pop/R&B singer. Rebecca started gigging around town, but it wasn't enough to pay the bills. Currently, Rebecca works as a nanny to help support herself while pursuing her career in music. Her determination has landed her studio time and background vocalist gigs, but she is hoping The Voice will get her to the next level.
