VALERIE PONZIO

Valerie grew up in a border town in Texas, where she was heavily influenced by Mexican music. She loves country music but includes Mexican influences in her style. Her brother, Randy, taught her everything she knew, but he passed away in 2011. In 2007, she graduated from Berklee College of Music and moved to Los Angeles to pursue her dreams. She moved back to El Paso after a year and started the band Val and the Southern Line. She is currently on the road with her boyfriend, who plays bass and sings backup for her.
