ENID ORTIZ

Enid grew up in a town with one of the highest crime rates in the country. She played with the boys and was constantly picked on for her rare skin disease, vitiligo. She would avoid being photographed for fear of embarrassment. She moved to Tampa with her family at 15 to find medical care and avoid crime. Throughout high school, she sang at various open mics and local gigs and eventually joined jam band Ragged Old Souls. Enid feels she is coming into her own and her self-image is slowly improving through every performance opportunity.
