X is an advocate for gun control who, after surviving the Stoneman Douglas High School Shooting in Parkland, Florida, co-founded the Never Again MSD. In March 2018, they kicked off the March for Our Lives rally. They have also been featured in the documentaries Generation Columbine, Fahrenheit 11/9 and Parkland: Inside Building 12.
