Tariq Trotter is a Grammy Award-winning American rapper, actor and MC known for co-founding the band The Roots with world-renowned drummer Questlove. Trotter has gone on to release successful studio albums and EPs such as Streams of Thought, Vol. 1 & Vol. 2, Streams of Thought, Vol. 3: Cane & Able and 11 other albums with The Roots. In addition to his music, Trotter has starred on the big screen in movies such as Stealing Cars, Brotherly Love and Tick, Tick...BOOM! Most recently, Trotter wrote and is starring in the brand-new musical Black No More, which is now playing Off-Broadway.
