Sylvester Stallone

Sylvester Stallone is the Oscar-nominated star of the Rocky and Rambo franchises. In 1976, Rocky launched Stallone's career and earned him Oscar nominations for acting and writing. From 1979 to 2006, Stallone wrote five sequels, directing four of them. In 1982, the actor portrayed Rambo for the first time in First Blood. He went on to reprise the character in three more films, from 1985 to 2008. Stallone created his third film franchise in 2010 with The Expendables and continued with The Expendables 2 and The Expendables 3. Stallone once again reprised his role as Rambo in the film Rambo: Last Blood, which premiered in September 2019. He recently starred in Samaritan, which released in August of 2022. His new series, Tulsa King, will premiere on Paramount+ in November 2022.
